What to expect from the new formulation:

More protein, from sustainable sources. We’ve upped the protein content to 20 grams per serving, so you can maximize muscle protein synthesis, repairing tissue and rebuilding strength. Utilizing a combination of rice, fava and BCAAs—essential amino acids for reducing muscle fatigue—you get a complete (and completely vegan) protein in every scoop. Fava, an amazingly environmentally friendly and clean source of protein, is fermented before being added to the mix to make it more bio-available and smoother going down, not to mention hypoallergenic.

Carbohydrates from (real) sugar to maximize glycogen replenishment and minimize fatigue. Like most busy athletes, your day likely requires more than couch time post workout. With a perfect carbohydrate blend of glucose and fructose, our recovery mix turns you around quickly, so you can get back to life with the same energy stores you brought to your workout. When to use The Recovery Mix
Like we mentioned earlier, this recovery drink is most effective in that hour window post exercise. Here are a few ideal use-cases:
On big training days. Kickstart recovery after exhaustive exercise or hard sessions, so you can train hard again the next day.
When there’s no time to be tired. Drink this post workout to ensure quick recovery and perform at your best in whatever else your day holds.
During multi-stage events. Replenish and sustain energy during multi-day events or whenever you have a quick turnaround between big efforts.
As an endurance-extension during long events. While we typically recommend this drink for recovery, some athletes like mixing it in for variety during their longest races as an easily-digestible protein source that also has the carbs they need to keep moving forward.
