Tailwind 2024 Goals

As we wave goodbye to 2023 and dive headfirst into the new possibilities of the coming months, it's time to dust off those dreams and set some goals. In today's post, we're diving into the fun side of New Year's resolutions – the workplace edition! Some of our employees share what they’re dreaming up for the new year!

Jeff and Jenny:  Jenny and I (Jeff) are doing the Faultline Challenge in NZ in April. Splitting 100 miles/4808M of climbing (about 16K). So each of us will do half. Getting time in the saddle and climbing time over the winter is challenging! Aside from that, I’ll probably do 12 Hours of Mesa Verde as a duo with Jenny and repeat the West End Gravel in Sept.

Lexi: My goal is to not sign up for a single race this coming year! The reason is I want to be able to say yes to all the mountain biking, backpacking, camping, running, and hiking (basically everything under the sun) and not be tied down by long rides on the weekends or tired legs and a need to force a rest day.

Maggie: To do a muscle up!

Chris: This will be a 1500-mile multisport year. For non-measurables, it's a year to explore the trails we offer here in the San Juans so I simply want to spend a lot more time in the saddle, biking new trails, or running new trails.

Lars: I plan on doing at least two 14ers this year. Rock on!

Monika: In 2024, I'm planning to give skate skiing a shot, spend extra hours outdoors preparing for two half marathons, and have fun paddle boarding with my friends.

Bryce: Run 2,000 miles in 2024, successfully fuel and run a 100k race, and climb Mt. Rainier in Washington.

Josh: I would like to be competitive in every ultra I run this year. To do so I will:

     Lift twice a week

     Do yoga twice a week

Follow my training plan exactly for 6 days a week at a minimum

Sleep 8 hours a night at least 5 times a week.

Megan: My 2024 goal is to get good at figure skating!

Michelle: I’d love to run the Fairplay long course at Burro Days this year, I’m also looking forward to the new Burro race that crosses state lines.

So, what is your 2024 goal? Let us know in the comments and we hope to fuel your goals in the new year!
