Holiday Recipes: Recovery Mix
Cheers to the Holiday season! To sweeten the week of Black Friday our team put together some delicious drinks using our Recovery Mix. Some of these drinks are a bit boozy, but we have something for everyone. Happy Holidays from the Tailwind team!
Peppermint Forest
Servings: Makes 1 drink
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Vanilla Vodka
1 oz Chocolate Creme Liqueur
Vanilla and Chocolate Rebuild (one scoop of each mixed in 8-10oz of water)
A dash of Peppermint Schnapps
Foamed half and half and crushed candy canes for topping
Directions:
- Shake the Recovery Mix with water
- Combine vodka, chocolate creme liqueur, Recovery Mix, and peppermint schnapps. Shake with ice
- Top with foamed half and half and crushed candy canes
Trail Mix
Servings: Makes 1 drink
Ingredients:
1 oz. Chambord
1 oz. Frangelico
6 oz. Vanilla Recovery Mix (1 scoop in 8 oz of water)
Directions:
- Shake the Recovery Mix with water
- Shake all ingredients and pour over ice
Salted Caramel Recovery Shake
Servings: Makes 1 drink
Ingredients:
1 frozen banana
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tbsp Salted Caramel Recovery Mix
1 medjool date, pitted and soaked
1 heaped tbsp peanut or almond butter
Optional: extra pinch of salt and dash of cinnamon
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth
- Pour into a glass and finish off with a sprinkle of cinnamon
