Lj Miller has always been driven by sports. A true competitor, his athletic endeavors began in soccer as a Teams USA athlete. He injured his knee while playing soccer in college and found himself rehabbing his knee on a bicycle in PT. This is when his passion for cycling first began. He started riding for fun, then competing and from there, he worked in every part of the cycling industry… from bike shops to racing to bike manufacturers.
With 20 plus years in the cycling industry, Lj has held Management Positions in Sales and Education at retail, corporate and global levels. Lj is currently the Technical Sales Manager for a bike company based in Southern California and he founded Miller Bike Fit in 2017.
Lj competes in gravel, mountain and cyclocross disciplines but trains on the road. He has been a top finisher in both the California and Texas State MTB Series and enjoys racing in Big Bear Lake, CA. He has previously won the California State Mountain Bike Championship Race Series.
Lj has a great deal of cycling experience. He understands the meaning of discipline and hard work. More importantly, he appreciates how fulfilling it is to help others.

How did you first discover Tailwind?
Lj: I first found Tailwind on a hot summer ride in Texas. I was riding with a friend who raved about it so I decided to give it a try. I was hooked from my first taste. It provides better fuel for my rides than any other product or combination of things that I’ve tried before.
How has Tailwind helped you in your athletic endeavors?
Lj: Tailwind is balanced nutrition that evenly sustains my energy. It has really simplified my training because it is literally all I need. It eliminates all the bars, pills, gels, and tablets. All you have to do is pedal. Quick water stops and that’s it.

Besides cycling, what else do you like to do in your spare time?
Lj: Beach walks, Read (I’m reading a book per week right now), Meditate, Stretch, Build up bikes, Watch races
Do you drink coffee?
Lj: I’m a Bulletproof coffee guy - I like butter in my coffee.
On average how many hours of sleep do you get a night?
Lj: 8 hours with my Sleep Crown pillow. Sleep is super important to me. Gotta get that recovery time in as well.
Where is your favorite place to ride your bike?
Lj: I’m really enjoying riding my gravel bike in Crystal Cove State Park in Orange County.
If you could create any flavor of Tailwind (Rebuild or Endurance Fuel), what would it be?
Lj: Yellow Cake Rebuild!
Favorite childhood memory?
Lj: My parents taking me to my first pro soccer game. It was a great surprise.
